Dear Parent:

Welcome to the Mary D. Stone School Website. It is our hope that this Website acts as a window into our wonderful primary school where our motto is, “We Practice Learning Everyday…We Practice Kindness too!"

The Mary D. Stone School has been entrusted with the task of educating the young children of Auburn residing in District II who attend kindergarten, grade one and grade two. In addition, we house the Auburn Public Schools’ Integrated Preschool Program. It is our goal to help our students to achieve to their highest individual potential. We cannot do that alone. A successful educational experience can only be accomplished through the total cooperation between the students, the home, the school and the community. This goal is best accomplished when the lines of communication are kept open; we hope that this Website is another avenue through which open communication can be sustained. Everyone at the Mary D. Stone School is committed to maintaining a positive and open relationship with the parents of our students, as we believe strongly in the power of the home-school connection. The result will be well worth the effort!
